This is a great little book, well deserving of a few sentences here.  It definitely is in the category of lift-the-mood book because the funny dog urges all listeners to "get their wiggle on" (my words, not Cronin's) in funny ways.  Ben starts wiggling as soon as we get out the book.

Here's a little example of the quick rhyming scheme: "Snakes are one big wiggle. / No wings. No tails. No feet. / Some wiggles are worth waiting for / Wiggle, wiggle, tweet!"  Simple.  Cute.  Catchy.  Fun to read aloud!

Doreen Cronin, of Click Clack Moo: Cows That Type fame, has a huge list of books that are just fantastic.  We've only met a few that are duds for us, but I just think Lorelei and Ben are a little too young for them.  She's definitely one of those go-to authors for us on the days when I forgot to order books ahead of time.  You really can't go wrong!
